Dunn Elementary teachers Nicole Hess and Joni Holder came in first place in their age groups in the Arlington Council of PTAs Celebration of Freedom Run. Hess and Holder ran the 3.5-mile run without any breaks.

School Psychology Awareness Week

The AISD is celebrating School Psychology Awareness Week Nov. 9-13. School psychologists help students succeed emotionally, socially and academically. They collaborate with educators, parents and other professionals to create safe, healthy and supportive learning environments for all students that strengthen connections between home and school. School psychologists work to find the best solution for each student and situation; they use different strategies to address student needs and to improve school and district-wide support systems.
