Mardi Gras Madness (MGM) is the official Arlington High School After Prom Party which occurs at
AHS immediately following the prom.
The halls of AHS are transformed into a New Orleans/Mardi Gras
atmosphere complete with decorations, food, games, and entertainment, all planned for by senior parents. It is
a year long project that needs the support of all senior parents.
There are many volunteer opportunities where senior parents can help. Committees that need
chairman/helpers are entertainment, food, door prizes, tickets, communications/public relations, and
fundraising, among others. There is a spot for everyone!
In order to make this event successful, we need ALL senior parents to volunteer. You MUST be an
approved AISD volunteer, so please fill out the volunteer application today! Be sure to include driver’s license/
Texas ID when mailing your application. The approval process takes several weeks, so please complete and
submit the volunteer application before the school year begins.
Parents who help with MGM must also be members of the AHS PTA. You may join the PTA at
Registration or at the first MGM meeting.
