Concordia University Texas will be hosting the second annual FAAME (future accountants, advertisers, managers, and entrapeanurs) a business leadership conference for students interested in majoring in business when they get to college. Even though this event will focus on the business major, it is great event for any leader at your campus. Hosted by our Dean of the College of Business, it will be a great expereince for any major. This is a great opportunity for your students to get to know the world of business, and the world of Concordia.
Higher Learning Black College Tours is having a bus tour the week of Spring Break (March 14 - March 20, 2010) to visit the campuses of historical black institutions. The tour is open to 9th through 12th grade high school students. Click here for more information.
Bowie Becomes Charter Member of CollegeKeys Compact™: James Bowie High School has become a charter member of the College Board's CollegeKeys Compact™. The Compact seeks to support students from low-income families as they work toward preparing for and getting in to college. As a part of this initiative, Bowie has entered a contract with the College Board to actively pursue ways and dedicate resources to help students get into and excel in college.
