The Purchasing Department is responsible for purchasing goods and services for the District. Notices for bids and request for proposals are published in the Fort Worth Commercial Recorder, posted on a bulletin board in the Business Office and posted online. Notices are also sent via e-mail, fax, or U.S. mail for vendors who have responded to a current bid in place, and new vendor applications for an active commodity/category being bid.
